Hi there, thinking of getting the sigma 70-200 os lens can't afford top of the range else's, anyone out there got this lens, or used one be grateful for feed back.going to use it for portraits, and travel .
Use one day in day out for portraits and weddings on full frame. It is a cracking piece of kit. Mine is not uber sharp at 2.8 but is pretty good from 3.2 on. OS is excellent helps compose image as well as sort camera shake. It is a beast to carry about though if you thinking for travel. I also use on 1.3&1.6 crop with a 1.4tc for wildlife and airshows does double duty!
Thank,s for the reply Tristan, I have a50d canon crop senser, sounds a great lens I can buy it for £ 670,from (one stop digital )seems a bargain co paired to canons 70-200 2.8 mk11.
I use one too on a crop body at the moment (D300s) I find it very good. There's a lot of engagement shoots and a family shoot on my blog mostly all shot with this lens. PS I got mine from Panamoz, they are just over £600 now if paying by bank transfer.
