Sigma 70-200 F2.8 APO HSM vs DG version whats differant?

Just won a the above lens on Flea Bay, apart from the DG coating and the latest versions has macro are there any other differances? between these two models.

I have the model prior to the macro

it's a great lens, good colour rendition, fast focusing and well built.

^ me too! The macro version doesn't rate as highly as the previous version for some reason.

Thanks guys for the reponses just wanted a bit of re-assurance from owners of this lens. Now I have to decide if I keep the Canon 70-200 F4L as well
