sigma 70-200 2.8 mk1 + 1.4x converter

Hey guys thinking is buying a tc for my sigma70-200mm 2.8, does the 1.4 tc work well on this lens also does the lens still af with the tc on, and which is the best tc to use with this lens... any pics with the 1.4tc attached on this lens would be great, Thanks andy.......

Hi Andy,

I would go for the Sigma 1.4 TC it will autofocus and its built very well and performs almost invisablbily


Both with Siggy 1.4 and wide open at f4

I found both the 1.4x and 2x TC's to work well with this lens.

With the 2x you need some unsharp mask to bring out the detail but still it is not bad at all.

With the 1.4x you have to be very picky to notice any difference.
