Sigma 50-100 1.8

How are others finding the AF performance? Indoors and in incandescent light it seems a little jumpy using AF-C compared to my Sigma 17-50, I'm getting much better results using AF-S. Edit to say that with a little AF fine tune (2 points for back focus) 3d tracking is working really well, the lens is stupidly sharp everywhere ... I haven't owned any exotic stuff ... the 35 1.8, 50 1.8, 85 1.8, 60 2.8 and Tammy 90 2.8 ... this thing blows them out of the water!

fine for me, I'm unsure if this is effected the same but the outer edges of the focus grid are problematic on the 18-35 so dont use them, i only use centre or group anyway... Have you checked firmware on Dock ?
 
After a bit more testing I think the AF is fine ... think I was looking for problems when there really is nothing to complain about with this lens. For anyone on the fence, Pricespy are now showing a couple of UK dealers selling for £750 who aren't on the camerapricebuster site ...
