They look ok at this size, but what about some 100% crops of the centre and edge? That would give us a better idea of the quality.

t'is a good lens for the cash. Mine is on the camera quite a bit due to it's versatility. It is not the sharpest and suffers from barrelling but what do you expect for the money.

I paid about £240 for mine about 18 months ago, but they can be seen on amazon a lot cheaper it seems.

I used to have the OS version and couldn't fault it really.

Corners could be a bit dodgy but the center was spot-on in my opinion.

I thought it was a cracking lens for what it was.

Only reason I ditched it was because I much prefer faster lenses - 1.4's for normal and 2.8 at tele. But that depends on your style as much as anything else.
