Ladies and gents, not sure if this is the correct forum for my post, if not I apologise. As the title suggests I'm having some problems with the autofocus on this lens, using it on a Canon 40d the autofucus just hunts for a good few seconds then when it settles nothing in the viewfinder is in focus. Lens was purchased new about 4 months ago, I did have a quick go when I got it and noticied nothing immediaelty wrong and the couple of times I've use dit after that I'd used manual focus, in testing things today before a planned trip I noticed this issue, have contacted the place I purchased it from, just waiting to hear back from them but was wondering if anyone else has had similar problems with this lens at all.
