Ive been offered the above lens at a really cheap price but reviews on line are a bit up and down.

Anyone ever used one in the real world.

I already use the 70-300 IS but thought the little extra reach might be nice, not to replace the canon, but in addition to it.
 
Will let you know. Just got one for a good price in the end. Like you said reviews are alittle up and down, But for the most part they are good at 300mm. And all in all are good for people who dont wanna spend £££ and do it for a hobby.

If you get a good copy it's not a bad lens at all;)
