Sigma 120-400 on Nikon crop?

Anyone had any experience of the Sigma 120-400 on a Nikon crop body? Will be used on a D7000.

Have done a forum search but most posts have the pictures missing

I have exactly that. Works nicely. I went on a photo day at the British wildlife centre and there was another guy there with exactly the same too. He previously upgraded to that lens for when he went to Africa on safari. Neither of us used a different lens all day. I bought mine 2nd hand and it's been fine.

Thanks glad someone had used the same combo as me. Probably be buying used too.
