Sigma 105 Macro, two hoods?

I am a bit baffled about the two lens hoods that came with my sigma 105 Macro, One is marked APS-C. My question is, do I use them stacked together or one for Close up and the other for portraits?

Use the main lens hood, when using full frame camera, add the APS-C adapter, when using a crop sensor camera.

Are they that prone to flair that they have to have matching hood-to-senser size to provide a better shade? Strewth!

When I had mine, I never used a hood at all. he front element was so far recessed, I never needed to. Can't say I eve had a problem with flair.

Me neither - it's flare that causes me problems! (Damn this language with its homophones!!!)

Thanks guys, I'll try it with an without. I usually put a hood on as extra protection.
