Sigma 105 macro focus problem

My sigma 105 macro won't focus with my canon ringlight fitted but does when its not,its 3 months old what should i do,,take it back for a refund or repair

After so long people may not take it back for a refund anyway - and a repair may be the only option unfortunately.

the extra weight is probably stressing the focus motor in the camera, Your best using manual focus or getting an internal focus lens. - Manual focus is much more accurate for macro photography - move the camera to focus. mine dose the same with a R1C1 fitted

Do you mean that it doesn't attempt to focus or that it searches but doesn't achieve focus?
