Yes
I intend getting this lens next month for the D300 so does anybody have any good shot done with this lens.

Type sigma 10-20 into flickr and you'll find thousands of them....

All the pictures HERE of my Sigma 24-70 lens were taken with the 10-20.
Sharp as hell, small, light and WIDE :D

Mine doesn't come off the body often, it's amazing!

i think theres a thread somewhere in the forum that is a "post your 10-20mm shots" i might be wrong, maybe that was a nifty fifty thread, or maybe its both, have a search, you may be lucky.

I have the 10-20mm on my d300, i dont use it that much tbh, but i havent been shooting much that would require a wide angle lately.

I have the 10-20 on my D300 most of the time, fantastic lens.

Oh how i'm torn.

I have been looking at a UWA lens for a while now. Last week i thought i had made my mind up on the Sigma 10-20mm. Then i read a couple of reviews that implied that the lens can be a bit soft and quality was not consistant. Then i found a Canon 10-22mm second hand for £450 but by the time i had contacted the seller it was gone.

Now i see these shots from the Sigma and i am really tempted by this lens again. Oh what to do????

Perhaps put a wanted thread out on here, then you can see sample shots etc from the lens

I bought mine here from Puddleduck, and it is 100% amazing. Easily the best lens I've ever owned!

I had the same problem thinking mine was soft etc etc, but its all down to using the right settings at the right time, now i love it.

Sorry to hijack the thread wilky76, but hopefully you'll get to see some more shots from this lens.

Philx, your example above. Can you remember what settings you used for this one. This would be a typical shot when i get my UWA.

Settings were: ISO:200, Aperture: f13, Shutter speed 1/200. Be prepared to get wet feet for shots like that though, your shoes will be peeping in the shots!!! I love getting these types of shots but you will get caught by the water.

I`ve found with the lens, with the help of numerous tests and advice from others that the sweetest spot for sharpness throughout the image is anything between f11 to f16, i always use f16 where i can now when taking landscapes.
A couple more to get you buying the lens!

I too am thinking of getting this lens. These images are great examples, hope I can do it as much justice!

Oh, god. I can't wait to get this lens in my kit.

There are some great images here. And i am being turned towards the Sigma again!

I think i may pay a visit to my local LCE and seek some final advice before taking the plunge. The savings over the Canon are very tempting though.

Just seen a Sigma 10-20mm EF fit online for £309, used but in top condition from a very trusted retailer. Got my name on it and will go and have a look 2mo. Looks like i'm taking the plunge with the Sigma.

This lens is constantly stuck on my camera, I just love the perspective of 10mm! :D

They're all on my Flickr if you need EXIF.

Well i went down to LCE Southampton today and picked up a Sigma 10-20mm for 309 quid. Went out and took a few test shots with both the Sigma and the Canon. Gotta be honest and say that i could not tell them much apart, still have to look deeply in to the test shots though!

Anyway, LCE Southampton, the guys working there are top notch. I would highly recommend people to go there when you purchase your kit.

Just got mine from ebay for 300 pounds shipped ! Waiting for it to arrive by Wednesday!
Will test it out with my D60.
Hope will be as good as other members.
