Can someone cast their eyes over these test images from my 10-20 and tell me if they look ok please, after a possible problem down the left hand side was pointed out on a thread of mine :'(

Ok, here they are again :p

Exif:

1. 10mm ISO 100 F8 1/15
2. 10mm ISO 100 F5.6 1/30
2. 10mm ISO 100 F4 1/50

All tripod mounted, 190xprob. All straight out of the camera, JPEG mode, no sharpening etc applied in PP

Sorry, they're not very exciting subjects

Whats the aperture / focal length on them?

Yes, theres definately moss on the left hand bricks!
The only thing I can see is the barrel distortion being more pronounced on the left, but this could be because you sere not square on to the ( interesting ) bricks, it also looks a little out of focus.
Is this what you mean? Or is it just my eyes?

not pin sharp all over so cant tell if soft on any edge.sorry

sigma 10-20's sometimes have issues with softness down the left hand side, it was pointed out that my lens may be suffering, and that I should shoot a brick wall.

I think I'm going to have to re-do this test under more controlled conditions though to be honest, I think the shutter speed was too slow on the 2nd one to make it a fair test.

Leave it with me, I'll be back :)
