Hi

Just found this site - it looks great, but so much to read and take in.

I've just started a photography course at my local arts centre and I'm absolutely loving it.

I'm completely clueless though, so I'm going to really enjoy taking in the wealth of informtion on these forums!

Actually, my Welsh isn't very good (from anglicised Pembrokeshire originally), but I just wanted to say something more "exotic" than hello.

Learning to take decent photographs and speak Welsh fluently are my two aims for the next couple of years!

Just happened to see a thread on Skomer Island - awesome photos. I grew up not far from there.
 
Well I'm not Welsh (Essex born and bred) but my father grew up and went to school in Wales, although he's terrible at rugby so I do wonder.

Some cracking locations near you though - spent many holidays as a kid in Amroth. Angle is brilliant for sunsets :)
