Shutterphoto.co.uk are they legit?

Okay I was googling for canon 85mm 1.8 and these came up on google's list of sellers.

I've never heard of them, and I can't see a VAT registered no. anywhere, they claim to be a UK based company, but the domain is registered in New York.

Just wanted to know if anyone has heard of them, used them or know anything about them? a quick search of shutterphoto on the forum did not bring up any results so thought I'd mention it before someone makes a mistake if they are a bunch of scammers.

I can't find out much about them. Good or bad! Which is a bad thing.

They don't give you much info. They don't provide their postcode (it's E5 9ND btw)

They have the same telephone number for voice and fax.

The address format is unusual, placing the Unit letter after the street name. This, and the poor use of English in the scrolling banner, suggests non-UK people are behind it.

Personally, I wouldn't buy an 85mm/1.8 from them if they were offering £1,000 cashback. But that's me :shrug:

Same, I wasn't going to buy anyway I just wanted to see how much they were going for and keep an eye out in the future.. also smelt something fishy from them..

But if I were to buy anything I sure wouldn't buy from them now!
