Yes
Hi all, after three months hard working for the new company, it's time to get back to photography.

I just bought an Ensign Selfix 220 and can't wait to try it out.but I come across a question whether I can use a shutter release cable on it? As I can't anywhere that I can stick that in.

Sorry for being silly again.if anyone can advice me on this issue, will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Thanks for your response. Yes, it is the same model but with different lens and they look slightly different.

Mine as below

I can't see any hole which I can put the cable in.

Mmm, It doesn't look like you have the option then, you'll just have to do everything hand held.

Isn't there a shutter release on the top of body where it would be on a "normal" camera? That release on my Ikonta is threaded to take a standard shutter release cable.

on my 320 there's a little o shaped bit above the shutter button lever thingy, I think that's where you screw in a classic remote shutter cable. Yours looks very similer :-)

It would appear that the option of a release cable was only available on the auto-range. Your camera with the chrome looks like it may be so have a close look around the shutter release to see if it has a hole without thread for the cable release.

See here.

Mine has the o shaped bit next to the shutter, literally more or less attached together. I will have to dig out my cable to try it.if not, an other excuse to buy the next one :)

I still like my new toy tho
