Yes
I got my SLR a few months ago and most of the pics were simply residing on my computer, not really doing much so I decided to get a load printed and stick them up on my wall! I've never been one for having posters of films or bands on my wall and for this reason my walls are almost completely bare. Anyway, I've finally got them all up and I am quite pleased :) Here is mine. It looks a bit mad but I love it!

And a link to the bigger one, 800 pixel limit FTL!

If you have a photo wall, post it in here!

Sorry if this has been done before.

I look forward to seeing your walls :p

my desk sits infront of me window so not got a wall.

also got a feeling this might get sent to "General photo sharing"

Erm...no.....I would if i take lots of landscapes but i like to take wedding pics so i am not going to start putting up someone's wife on my wall lol

Here's two walls of my Workroom / Study (needed a Joiner to cover it...)

There's only one thing on the wall that's not my work (apart from the Telly of course!), and it's the biggest on the wall - a framed map of local area.

I keep having an idea of getting a load of 6x4s done and covering one wall in a massive montage, but not got around to that yet :(

This is how my room looked a while ago, range of sizes etc, some of the bigger ones are now down in my new office, so need something new up there.

Woah hang on a sec how do you take and join pictures like that? Nice effect!

BalSanghera - It is just a lot of shots using the Sigma 10-20 stitched together in Photoshop.

Im assuming you used a tripod to keep the camera at the same level and just moved each time you took a shot?

i am ashamed to admit all my shots are in albums...being 6X4
my walls all have charity shop pictures in good frames

A tripod would have stopped the wonky wall in the middle. That was just hand held. Keep your feet planted and just spin around taking shots so they overlap about 30% (ish) and you should be ok, it didnt stitch perfectly...with a tripod it would be neater, but only perfect with a panoramic head (which makes the camera pivot around the sensor, I think).

Tom, your photos look lovely on your walls.

Ive been meaning to do that for so long but never get round to it. :|

even with the tripod...the camera has to be level in all horizontal planes
slight tilt up or down will give a lot of cut out on the stitched pano
requiring a bit more cropping and making the room look like a roller coaster

getting the cam onto a tripod would have made it sharper
and i used manual settings 1/13 at f2.8 so that all surfaces were exposed correctly

what would the pano look like otherwise..? less black bits and not so much curving
so giving more useful image

A huge photo in the lounge...

....and a canvas in the dining room...

I also have some framed prints in the toilet and hall but no photos of those.

Did you take that huge photo? If so what sort of camera did you use? How many megapixels?
What is the quality of the photo like?
Sorry for all the questions, but I would like to get a few photos blown up to that size, but don't know if my camera (canon 450d) would be up to it.

just converted a room so havent got anything yet on the walls but watch this space.

Yes, the large one was shot with a 5D. Photo looks great. The canvas in the dining room is A0 and was shot with a Canon 300D and that looks fine. I'm sure you'll be OK with a 450D.

Some great ideas in this thread, i'd love to be able to show my photography off in my house :)

bbb: that living room shot is stunning! Looks great and fits in with the room well too! Nice work!
