As is our customary tradition here on Talk Photography, we throw this open to the internet to add a bit of festive decoration to our logo.
This year is extra special as it's the first since our rebranding and new look.

I foresee a few baubles inside the camera icon of our logos :D

Go nuts, make it pretty, make it nice. Heck, even make it animated if you like.

But keep it the same size please :)

Attached is the default logo, in JPG format with the standard bright background.

Here is the logo with transparency as a PNG

Here's the logo much larger (1600 wide), with white background.
Please resize to 400 wide and 68 high before submitting :)

Dearie me and still November!

If I had the talent I'd give it a go but sadly I don't :( any effort I would make would look like a deranged chimp had been let loose with a tin of dulux :sulk: :bang: sure there will be some fantastic efforts

A higher resolution one would help. I know it needs to be this size for the forums, but actually working on it would be MUCH easier with a scalable illustrator file (.EPS or .AI) Whoever designed it (assuming it was a graphics designer) would have it in this format. Failing that.... just a higher res JPEG or PNG version.

Hmmm.... kinda doesn't work on this hideously bright background.... can't see the snow on the word photography.

Hideously bright is a bit of an over statement don't you think?

Tell that to my headache if I spend more than an hour on here.

I'll say what I always say: Imaging software, never, ever has a bright white background... because it's fatiguing, and makes judging and appreciating images difficult... it utterly ruins your ability to judge images accurately.... and this is a photography forum where people post images constantly,

It's inappropriate and wrong for this forum IMO.

Well you've got two other colour options to pick from now so go and pick one of them out, that or spend less than and hour a day on here  then you'll not get a headache, day light must be a killer for you :)

Yeah daylight is just the same as staring at a monitor. :bang:

[edit]

Apologies... wasn't aware there was a theme called daylight. Last time I asked about this, themes were still being developed. They were hardly announced with a fanfare.

....unless you were being an arse.... in which case

Both the new themes were announced in their own separate threads in Forum Discussion, a good place to find out about what is happening with the forums, especially since the migration.

I'm sure I'd have found it eventually... Ta.

I tend to not default to Arse...lots of discussion in forum discussion and I'm also fairly sure there was a big stick post on the home page about it too...not sure how much could have been done

I'm subscribed to so many threads now I miss stuff. I need to sort that out... bin a load of stuff and start again.

Love it Mark looks brilliant love the pudding nice touch

If you want to see your Christmas logo at the top over Christmas like the ones above, get creative and post it on here doesnt have to be animated statics fab too

Gonna bump the thread around, get some more interest...Come on ladies and gents.....Show us what you've got!
Edited the first post to attach a large version of the logo
