Show us yer film shots then!

Nigel's post inspired me to dig this one out of a footpath at Morcambe Promenade

Bit of a crop to take out the wall.

Forgot the details but can dig them out if its imperative you know.

Like this a lot! (y)
Its a very Nice exhibit Nigel,
I took poetic licence and added the ceiling bits in there as I thought it complemented the image overall, it really is a technical lesson of 3 dimensional paint on a flat surface. some neat tricks if you look.

This was my favourite bit.

I cannot recommend The Lowry enough, The 360 degree presentation of the "The Match" by lowry is an absolute wonder for those of us interested in the visual aspect of art. Also I must admit that I had vastly underestimated Lowry, to see the texture in his paintings was really an eye opener for me. And its all free.

This is another under the same conditions, again I added a smidgin of my own Paltry effort to further enhance the perception of depth.

The lens was a giveaway for me and made me look closer.

Mamiya RB67 @ 50mm (new light seal test)
Incident meter Tripod
T-MAX 400 in ADOX FX 39ii 20.2 degrees for 10.5 mins
Home scan, PP auto + contrast, crop to remove film curl.

I struggled with this one, taken about four in the afternoon as it was going dark, and although not seen in the shot was situated underneath a canopy, the car is painted matt black.

Buggsy Malone or Dick Dastardly?

This shows better the cover, allowing only a thin sliver of light through, the car again painted matt black

There was a sizeable gap between me taking the first shot, and then the remaining eleven frames on this roll, and I guess the film may have developed some looseness on the take-up spool in the interim. When I removed the film the roll was "fat" and not tightly wound. Despite me getting it somewhere dark ASAP, light moves faster than my hands it would appear, and so massive light leaks occurred.

While there's a certain aesthetic to these, I'm disappointed they didn't turn out undamaged as they're nice pictures, I think.

I love the effect there NIgel but in the same breath sympathise, many would search high and low for that effect, but your right that those shots are too good and not suitable for it.

Still thanks for showing us!

While we are on balls ups

Here is one I took of the engine bay, I had moved the camera to get a better angle etc and I must not have wound on the film just re loaded the shutter, or something. unless the leafs just bounced when moving it. I have no good shot of that fantastic engine though. :(

I still cannot believe how lucky I was to just walk round a corner and find these two beautiful old cars, as you can imagine I got a bit carried away(digital influence), anyhow this is the last of them.

Ant hill Mob (apparently that's a real drag team over the pond)

You've definitely caught or created an appropriate mood here. Good image.

Thanks for the kind words Kevin, I think the negative would create a wonderful Photo, it might be the first one I try to print in the darkroom.
Getting rid of that very bright sky has worked wonders for the image I think. I might try it on the other shots.

I was down to a second by this point, any darker and it would have been Ei800

A few from the noughties taken on an Agfa 6x6 folder bought for a fiver from Cash Convertors. They were converted by photographing the negatives on a light box so aren't perfect.

I'm guessing that the front standard was out of alignment, inadvertently adding some tilt. It's a nice effect though.

In the funicular at Saltburn the rails run steeply down hill to the flat shoreline. The camera was aligned with the rails. I think the boat in Whitby harbour shot had the focus distance too short.

The picture looks like it's reversed, but the "Accommodation" sign is actually like that in reality.
