Really nice Nige. Have you brought out the colour a bit more in post? I've just used my (thankfully last) roll of Lomo 400 and found the colours very washed out. I'm wondering if it's my scan after seeing this.

On this one, no. I think the sun came out and just made it all "pop". It's had some editing, but not to the vibrancy or saturation. I did put it through Color Perfect, but just to remove a slight magenta cast. I think it's a film that favours reds and warm tones.

I know what you mean though, sometimes the colours can be a little muted. This shot is from the same roll and has been processed in much the same way, but the light was more subdued when I took the photo:

Very good Andy, I like the symmetry of the photographs and a nice idea with the distant and then close up from almost the same perspective.

What a lovely pair.:LOL:

Novars are brilliant lenses once stopped down to f/8 (or even just f/5.6).
 
I returned from holiday and found to my dismay that I had accumulated 26 rolls of processed film which needed to be scanned. Here, and in following replies are some of the results.

The frame is clipped at the top because the film cannister was riding low in the camera, a potential problem I wasn't aware of until after the fact
I like the way the image has been renedered although the negative was a bit thin
I got this hand held at 1/8th second f4.5

This is based on one of the worst clipped frames where the image ran about 2mm into the sprocket holes which the scanner obviously couldn't cope with so created the composite by mirroring the image

That's the lot for now. Pictures shot between the beginning of July and the end of August this year. Shooting starts in earnest again next week when I'm on holiday in Wales, hooray!

Even though the focus is on an uninterrsting post, the line of the posts following the curve of the canal and speckled lighting on the ground works very well imo(y)
There again I usually blather a load of tosh so maybe better to ignore my opinion!:D

I've just zoomed into it on flickr and the d bark of the trees is wicked…..a contest for LF that's for sure!
 
@sirch Out of curiousity what processing / PP did you apply ….Developer ( standard time or adjusted?) Scanner setting / curves /sharpening

I'm tipping that the positive resembles very close to the negative as it doesn't appear to have received a lot of tweaking
 
Following several months of abscence, I took a LF outfit yesterday to refresh myself with movements etc.

Haven't quite nailed the focus of the full length of the fence in this shot but quite pleased with it nonetheless

I'll post this one up too even though I'm not pleased with it,

Shot on LF back in August 2017...….That was the last time I shot a 4x5 frame until yesterday!!

It was taken simply as an advert photo for a lens that I was selling.

Much as this effort was poor; there is possibly a photograph to be had from the same location in the local village.

The wall visible through the "windows" is the old packhorse bridge.

It may be possible to photograph that bridge through the window whilst capturing its reflection in the water of the baths

Another project to attempt! :rolleyes::D

Actually, I'm impressed by the way you managed to line up the of the counter (or whatever it is) to be parallel to the railings beyond and intersect the right hand far corner with the vertical of the railing.

For some reason I didn't see your post yesterday evening. Developed in Kodak HC 110 dilution B for 6 minutes 30 sec. Scanned on Epson V550 with Silverfast, I can't say what settings, just whatever suited that frame by way of black/white point and contrast, and then given a slight keystone adjustment in Lightroom.
