Love that the shadow of the walkway and the fence reference each other in the way they bend as the beach falls away.

My girlfriend and I went to Lynton in Devon at the weekend for my birthday. Shot 5 rolls of film in 2 days which is a record for me as I'm usually lucky to use one! The four colour rolls are currently whizzing their way through the Royal Mail, but I developed and scanned the B&W roll tonight. This is the second roll of Tri-X I've ever used and I quite like it. Used HC-110 (b) for 6:30 as I've read that Kodak's time for this combination is more or less wrong. Got a few photos that I'm really happy with, but I might hold the rest back for a thread when I get the colour photos back, or I might just post them here one by one as I run out of patience waiting :LOL:

I called on the way back from somewhere last year sometime, shot a full roll in great light and ended up without a single worthwhile frame, I dunno why......the jury is still deliberating.
Be interesting to see your angle.

I had very drab light with a faint mist which obscured the distant views and turned the sky almost white. Here's what I got anyway. All Ektar in an RZ67.

Yeah, they are a bit flat, the last one is starting to go somewhere with the fog and whatnot.
I gotta say, I didn't see rocks half as interesting as those, I'm thinking maybe I wasn't in the same place.
Sometimes I'll go to a place and even if I don't take a decent shot, I consider it a worthwhile visit just to know its potential for future visits.

This was my best, not worth scanning properly, never mind printing.

For the first time in recent memory, I not only went one month without taking a single photograph, but my cameras were left unused for a whole two months. I finally rectified this earlier in March with a short trip to Warsaw.

We really enjoyed Warsaw. It's not necessarily the prettiest city ever, but it has such a complex and interesting history with lots to see and do that it's definitely worth a visit. If you have any interest in World War II sites, memorials, and museums, this city should keep you occupied for days.

@skyshark That's an awesome set of results as usual, the rest on Flickr are equally good. I don't know how you manage to get such good results with Lubitel either!

It had been grey and dull all day, but we got lucky and got to see a great sunset from the top of the Palace for Culture and Science.

The Lubitel is actually capable of surprisingly good results, especially if you stop down a little bit and use it within its means. I made a bit of a mistake on my last roll though, as I accidentally was looking through the counter window for 6x4.5cm when I was shooting 6x6, resulting in a number of overlapping frames... oops!




I've managed to upload a few more shots this morning from our recent Poland trip. One of the photographs is from Warsaw's Neon Museum which is a quirky, but interesting little museum that is aiming to restore and preserve many of the old neon signs from Poland's communist era, while there's also one pic from the Railway Museum.

Well I finally got a roll of film through the Nikon FE I bought and established there is o light leak. Deveoped by dsc colour lab who give a free low res CD with a set of 6x4 prints. A minor amout of post processing of the scans has introduced a lot of noise. Nikon FE with 50/1.8 ai-s; film was Superia Xtra 400.
