Show us yer film shots then!

I have posted this in the LF thread but I thought I would double up. :D

MPP Mk vii on Shanghai GP3.

Thats looking good. I might get some of the GP3 to try in LF.

It's much better than I was expecting, particularly as I had to guess at the dev times. I couldn't find a match for it in LC29 so gave it 6 minutes, seems to work ok.

Over 16,000 posts in here now!

Still interesting, high quality input with no bickering - a tribute to F&C!
Should we start an F&C bickering thread, just in case somebody stumbles in from the wedding, birding or OOF sections?

Blimey, the lily got explored on flickr..... not sure what that means but it has over 50 faves, more than all my other pics put together I think. :D

Well done Andy.

It's all about the size.

Another selfie ;)

Cheddar has got to be one of the worst places I've visited for parking. All along the gorge there are small lay bys which are rammed with cars, and then as you get into the town it seems that every little space and parking spot has a car or two crammed in it. All of the actual car parks are full to the brim with tourists wanting to look around the caves and attractions. Luckily the bits that I walk around are a bit further out so I can usually park unless I get there at a busy time of day during the summer.

Hiya all,

Over on the 'Photos: From Film' section I have posted a set from London that I took in mid-August.

In August I attended a training course for work in London for a couple of days. Whilst there I took my Fujifilm GA645 Pro for a couple of strolls around town each evening.

All shot on Kodak TMAX 400, and Kodak Portra 400. Most film was pushed. Any vignettes added in PP.

Some of the photos are below. The full set can be found here:

London Stroll

Ta,
Shane :)

Like those Shane, the top one is brilliant, great timing.

Carl can I ask something about the scans you had done at UKFL - were all the tones in the negs (as seen by visual inspection as on a lightbox) contained in the scan histograms or did some run off the histogram ends?

I can't compare to the actual negs as UKFL keep them for 12 months and send them all back at once to save you postage. I've just looked at the histogram for the steam whistle image and there's no clipping of highlights, here's a snip of the histogram (I've not edited the image at all since downloading it)

It gets very close to the end but is far enough away that there's detail in the entire image. I've dropped the exposure 2 stops in Lightroom and you can see that there is still complete detail in the clouds and steam

Thanks - a good answer. A few scans I had done recently by AG had detail in the negs clipped ...

Nice...

Shopping List - hahaha!
