This one has me baffle though. It was shot on the day I loaded the film so shot at 100 iso and pushed with the rest of the roll. It's turned out great.

Well they came out ok then.(y)

Just a record AAMOI shot checking the Chinon CE camera body (used a Pentax 35mm lens)...the lighting was a bit flat for John Milton's (who's he) cottage...well a pub was just behind me and this was the only view to take a shot, well I can't think of anything that would make the shot "exciting" h'mmm

Lloyds pharmacy film exp 2006, Asda dev and scan Pentax 35mm lens M42

Lovely amount of detail in that, Simon, and I'm impressed at Acros - looks cleaner at ISO 400 than Tri-X does without pushing!

Thanks Dean.

I'm going through one of my experimental phases. I'm getting some surprising and illuminating results.

Oh, my. My Auntie picked me up a Yashica GSN from a car boot sale for a fiver. I've put a test roll through it, and not only does it work, but I think I'm in love.

Very nice! I had one of the earlier Yashica rangefinders for a while and was really impressed with the lens. It was a bit too heavy for me to keep, but the images from it were lovely!

Sir needs to find himself a nice 35 GX or CC, they're considerably smaller than the other Electro cameras and produce excellent results. Bit like hen's teeth to get hold of a good one at a reasonable price, mind.

Minolta/Sigma/Vista, as above, over the stern of the Cardiff Bay Aquabus.

As I said earlier, lots of landscape-type photos I hated, and some close-ups I liked a lot, like this one. One of these days I'll learn the lesson.

I was given a Minolta Dynax 7000i with a Sigma 35-70mm zoom last year. I finally got round to using it. I took too many scenery shots in flat light that came out boring and horrible, but a few close-ups I like.

These two are Clevedon pier, on Agfa Vista

Wow there's actually a photo of a place I know :D Not too far from my house (well, an hour and a bit). Photos look great :)

Scanned the tets roll I put through the Ensign this afternoon. Nothing special but I'm pleased that it worked and nothing was too over/underexposed  The first is one of my dad sorting rubbish out in the garden, and the second is one of my two dogs (who I had to lure out with a biscuit). Annoyingly the one of the dogs is the best on the roll but it's ruined by an accidental double exposure of a wall ornament across the middle  :$

They've turned out rather well. Better than I was expecting TBH.

And thanks very much for your kind comment.

Those look good Carl.

Cheers, Carl. We went over on the MV Balmoral from Penarth. It sheeted down on the way over, then we realised that all the shops were shut because it was Sunday, so, you know, standard British day trip. On the positive side, we had some pints in the pub and it brightened up enough to take some photos later. The journey back was most pleasant.

Good work with the Ensign. You're better at guess-focusing than I am!
