I know it has hand shake or whatever, and the technical purists would hate it - but I like this.

A couple from an outdated Agfa Vista 200 lurking in a box in my fridge -- I rated it at 125 ASA and density was good on processing by BOOTS of Brentwood HIgh Street BUT they scratched my two films I put in badly so when I complained I got complimentary CD's done so I have uploaded from their scan on their CD Personal photos on rest of roll boring not worth showing --
my 'Gift' YASHICA FR1 from about 1974 + ML 80-200mm f4 Yashinon Zoom -- I took another without the bloke who 'bombed' photo but like THIS one.

I'd like to see the one without the photobomber, Pete, that looks as though it could be a really characterful portrait. :)

Peter, why oh why did you not grab another shot once that intrusive bloke got out the way? GREAT character shot without the distraction.

That 16mm is cool!

Sure is. Tokina 11-16 f2.8. It's a DX lens so can only be used at 16mm without vignetting. It's easily the sharpest lens I own.

That must be the visitor's chair; they could hardly hear the speakers from there! ;)

Nah, I don't have visitors. :)

It is the cat's favourite chair though.

Thanks, Pete. I understand why you're not so keen on this one but I prefer it to the bombed version :)

@simon ess that first one with the tree reflections is just ace and the bit of grass bottom left gives the depth to the scene that finishes it off nicely imo

Anyhow, as always when folk have posted outstanding work, I come along to bring the standards back down :D

A few from a local event in the village .......no idea when it was or what camera as i forgot to take note :banghead: though t'was probably a nikon set up and our favourite quid film.

EDIT......I've just put the next batch of negs in the scanner and realised that these five were scanned as from a monochrome source instead of colour:facepalm: ....I did kinda think they looked a tad washed out . :rolleyes:Anyway, they can stay as is for now...the next lot will hopefully look more colourful / saturated(y)

Ah,I thought you might be getting through your d-day back log. :)

a few more just to bore you all:D

The one thing that brought back "happy memories" for me when viewing these vehicles was they had "Choke" knobs .....Remember when you went off early morning, still half asleep, commuted 10 miles to work only to find you'd left the choke half out and burn a half a tank of juice?:D

I wasn't sure about this one, maybe too long an exposure and too white a water?

But it has grown on me.

Maybe it works because of the number and diverse nature of the waterfalls? So there are lots of versions of "pretty smooth white milk", grading down to some that actually look like water.
