I've just finished scanning and uploading a set of shots from a walk around Liverpool last week with the M645J and 35mm 3.5.

I'll put a full set up later but thought I'd share a couple here seeing as it's been a while!

It's safe to say the the 35mm is pretty much welded to my camera :0)

Cheers

^^^ Me Too, although these are on Ilford Delta 100 which looks like it might become another favourite. Just a couple of test shots on the recently acquired Fuji GW690 Mark III from Trev Bray, a lovely camera and Trev is a top bloke in my 'umble opinion. Devved in Ilfotech LC29.

The current Mrs Snap on fire (Kindle that is) with a little fill flash.

Very nice indeed Andy... except for the suggestion in that last one that you might partake in some un-northern, un-manly chasing round courts with a bat trying to hit things... you should stop, now, and have a drink quickly!

We only use the rackets to beat off the wolf packs that roam the streets during the long, dark winter months. Nothing un-northern around here...:D

i dont think anyone thought for one moment that you were going to take up anything that involves movement Andy ,, :D
and we can see who controls the tv remote as well :D:D
and does mrs Snap you've been buying more cameras ?:snaphappy:

I obviously positioned the remote there for dramatic effect.....

And, yes she does know about the new camera, permission was gained in advance...

A few from the Lakes last weekend on a walk from Threlkeld to Keswick along the old railway line. All on the Mamiya C330f on Kodak Portra 160. I've notched up the colour a bit on these as the Portra didn't really bring out the beauty of the spring hues as I saw them. Other than that I'm right pleased with them, 24 shots and 22 I'm happy with.

Nice shots there Andy. Personally, I prefer the second one because I'm a sucker for running water but it was nice of the sheep to get in line with the tree for you on the third ;0)

Love the fact you've put it to immediate use Andy...onward..

I thought it might be interesting to go extra-retro; this is one of the oldest images I have, which I took in 1982 in York on a Canon AE1 and unidentified slide film:

Whereas the shops and fashions make the above an obviously old image, the one below was taken in the Cheviots in 1981 but it would like exactly the same if taken today:

My/our friend Asha with his 6x7 trying for landscape :)

I hope you like the wonderful landscapes that Asha can put you in.

^^^^^^^^

I really like the second shot, lovely water effect and sharp as a Lemon.

A few from a recent hill climb event taken with a Canon AE-1 Program and Canon 50mm f1.8:

Julian, these are really nice, and you've clearly got your panning down to a fine art! It's a lot harder on film, not being able to check how successful your approach is, but you've pretty much nailed it.

A triple whammy of fever, cough, and laryngitis have kept me from taking a single shot with my "new" SQ-A. So, here are a few shots I took some time ago. Nikon F601, Nikkor AF 50mm 1.4, Fuji Superia (which is what they had in Boots when I was desperate to try it out)

The famous(ish) Old Bridge in Pontypridd, once Europe's longest single-span stone arch bridge.

The drinking fountain, Taff St, Pontypridd. Needs some dust spotting . . .

A rose from the bunch of flahrs I bought t'missus to brighten up her day (yeah, I'm good to her like that).

RZ67 Pro II with 140mm ML-A macro lens and extension tubes 1 & 2, window light. First time I've tried using these properly and I'll have to read the manuals again because I thought I should be able to get 1:1 images with that set-up. Still, I'm reasonably pleased with this, one of the test shots on Fujifilm FP100C polaroid, 32 seconds at f/22 and a bit of dust-spot cleaning in LR, over-sharpened by Flickr but it's a school night and I'm off to bed early for a change.

That is really, really nice Dean.

Thanks, Andy :)

I've been meaning to give macro a proper go for some time and I enjoyed it much more than I expected. The colours are a bit off in that one but I'm really pleased with the textures.
