Show us yer film shots then!

This is stunning. Crop it panoramic, losing the bottom third of her shins and about half the sky and this would only improve :)

Thanks but still think it's just a "if only shot", what I would do if I went back (which I couldn't afford in the 1960's with expensive Kodachrome) would be to take several shots with 35mm slide and medium format using maybe Fuji Reala.

Forgot: I also could only afford the standard Pentax 55mm f1.8...now I could use many lenses to get the best view even panos in Photoshop :)

Ireland is\has received massive subsidies from the EU and has took off and even today my brother in law receives £280/week state pension and I get a paltry £138/week, why do I mention this? Because I hadn't gone back to Ireland for about 30 years from the 1960's, and my relatives asked me in the 1990's "what do I think" and I said "the place is ruined because you are so well off and the quaintness has gone as all the old pretty houses have disappeared and been replaced by modern buildings".

Anyway another "if only" and also a record shot as I bet all those houses in the distance are all modern bungalows now.
Had a job scanning this with a 2480, not sure if it's Kodachrome as I also made a mistake of using Agfa and Perutz as it was cheaper, and the colours fade after 45 years.

Now why did I include a bit of the road :(

The bit of road doesn't bother me too much tbh but the sloping water/horizon does.....level it up and it's a very nice scene .

Gorgeous set Knikki. Really nice. Especially #3. Appears a tad bit over magenta tinted on my screen though. (macbook pro).

Very nice Nick, are the meadows near to the Swettenham Arms? I've been meaning to head out that way for a while, looks nice and its only 30 mins up the road for me.

Swettenham arms is a great place to eat too.

Thanks chaps

@Mel might be I did boost the colour a little using curves to make the sky stand out but looks ok on my screen (I think) and it was very late in the day I think the sun set about 10 minutes later.

@Andy yep park in the car park go to the left of the pub through the beer garden and you are in the meadows. Yes nice food but not cheap pub food.

@Nick I really like the green in that shot.

When is a breakfast a breakfast...........
On bank holiday monday my grandson and I cycled past this pub about 4pm, and on the side on the road was a big board saying try the best English breakfast, double this and double that with black or white pudding and so on, and my grandson said can we come back and have this? And I said sure we'll come back tomorrow morning.
Next morning at 10:30, also with my grandaughter and all hungry and the pub was deserted and locked up, well I said maybe they let the staff have tues off for working on the bank holiday? Anyway after about 10 mins trying all doors we eventually saw opening times, and opening time was 12 oclock DOH!

Nguss, two beautiful shots.

Norters, loving the Amsterdam stuff.

Can you two velvia shooters go and start your own thread somewhere else, preferably where we can't see how woeful our efforts are :p

A cracking pair of shots Nguss

Not a film I'd normally choose for landscapes, but I'm pretty impressed with Kodak Portra 400.

This was taken overlooking the hills of Assynt a few weeks ago, using a Hasselblad Xpan with the 45mm f4 lens...
