Show us yer film shots then!

Llanberis Pass by osh80, on Flickr

Second attempt at posting this picture. The slide looks great, but finding it difficult to get it scanned properly. :bang:

It was taken on Fuji Velvia 50 with a Bronica SQ-Ai and 40mm lens.

Looks pretty good to me! Great shot, stunning location. Excellent all round 6x6 landscape shot.

I'm only connected on a dongle just now, so just the one today, from November. I really like this tree, suspect you might see it again...

Superia Extra 400 taken with the Pentax ME.

Very nice low sun shot, really like the way the branches fill the frame!

Thanks Jao! I'm finding it quite hard to scan Velvia using my V500. Seems better if I over-expose it a bit (ISO 40 instead of 50), but still struggling with the sharpness. If I turn on unsharp mask the picture looks far too sharp, but without it it is very soft.

I had hoped to sit my good lady on the rock at the end of the pathway but with the waves......well you know what girls are like at getting their feet wet!!:D :D

Was impressed to actually get an horizon level handheld...not something I'm good at :D

Just slight sharpening to account for the scanning and a little dust removal.

Does look a fraction lighter on my PSE page than it does on here though:thinking:

Lovely snaky shape of that path. Like it, Asha!

Thank you Chris,

I'm hoping to go back out around that particular stretch of coastline ( not far from Antibes, some of you may know the place!) at a different time of day...there were masses of photo oportunities that i simply didn't have the time or correct lighting to capture. Fortuanatley it's just a short journey away for me:thumbs:

A few from New Year in Dufton on a Mamiya C330f, various lenses and Kodak Portra 160. Vaguely disappointed with the results so I converted some of them to b&w in Topaz b&w, generally just poor light which left the, all a little flat.

Andy, the shed is a cracker, not at all flat, but I see what you mean about the church.

My great-grandma lived in that care home on the cliff, until she died last year. She was 109, oldest woman in Cornwall. The place is beautiful inside, like a super luxury hotel. From the viewpoint of this photo, the hotel behind you (used to be called Trewoon) was owned by my grandparents for many years, as a hotel/guesthouse. They still live just up the road, in Mullion :)

A couple from a meander up the High Street

You didn't say what camera that was, Steve. Obviously not your Ikonta as you've lent it to me! Oh wait, they were last week...

I like both of those; the passageway really shouts out atmospheric Edinburgh (I'm almost convinced that bloke has a pipe). I've tried that little statue a couple of times without getting what I wanted, but think you've nailed it!

Thanks Chris, I spend a disproportionate amount of time framing that statue!

I'll go back and add the "exif", forgot all about it. But they were shot on my OM30 with a 50mm.

Nice, has a very old world feel to it.

Cheers guys. Steve, it was a back street in Krakow, which probably explains it! The colours of the Provia 100F definitely help though, a digital shot of it would've been cooler.

A street scene from Covent Garden:

Fuji Acros 100, Hasselblad 500C/M

I haven't been a fan of Acros 100 in the past, but I seem to be getting better results from it - really like this shot.

Really like this. Think i've seen this guy perform. Was around Covent Garden today but the snow has scared away everyone!

I don't actually stray that way that often, I usually struggle to make a good picture from street performances!

More from that day: here

Love this Mel. Very well seen. Particularly like the contrasty people against the Houses of Parliament.

"Hasselblad, 80mm 2.8. Portra 160 @ 100. Another of my current favourite subject"

Mel, very good shot and a unique piece of processing, I like the sort of New York feel to the photograph. well done indeed.

Yep, not even slightly terrible. In fact, rather nice, actually, very nice indeed.

Ooh, those are beautiful Woodsy. I especially like the Durdle Door one, with the spot of light breaking through the clouds behind. Gorgeous!

I agree, lovely pictures and the spot of light in the second one is just divine!

Greta stuff Jonathan, not just the Durdle Door pic but also Mupe Bay; the echo of the strat across the bay is fantastic!

Welcome to TP and the Dark Side, hlens. That's worked really well for a £1 film in challenging conditions. Do you remember the shutter speed?
