Thanks Nick, I am now hungry!

Eric, You from LGC? I know quite a few of the locations on your flickr stream..lol And commented on one of them.

A couple of instants from one of my recent forays into Large Format.

I'm stuck on using Polaroid/Fuji Instant Film at the moment, partly to test that the cameras/lens are functioning correctly and largely through dread of wresting with holders and film sheets in a changing bag

Shot at Arc Studios Preston Film Club.

First one shot using a DeVere Devon monorail; 240mm lens; and 8 years expired Fuji FP100C45:

Second one shot using a handheld :D MPP Micropress; 150mm lens; and 8 years expired Polaroid Polapan53:

Both Rock !!!

Very atmospheric shot Eric, and a good candidate for the current "winter" challenge.

Three from a variety of cameras.

Firstly one from my recently acquired Ebner, a medium format folding bellows camera produced in Germany between 1933-35

Next one from my Mamiya RZ67, the first roll through it since getting it serviced, unfortunately one of the film backs needs a service now.

And finally, one from the first ever film put through my Toyo 4x5 monorail camera, it's only taken me 9 months to get my act together.

A few from my recent trip to Berlin. All shot on a Mamiya RB67 with 50mm F4.5 C lens and Kodak Portra 400 (the new stuff).

I haven't taken my Mamiya to Berlin with me yet, seeing your shots maybe I should..

Cracking shots there, did you go up the Fernsehturm? they do an excellent meal up there and you can see the lights of the city.

Thanks for the comments.

@Alistair, I did go up the Fernsehturm and I found it to be a very disappointing experience... Berlin simply isn't such a beautiful city from up there (not compared to other cities I have been to anyway). I'm just glad the RB67, a 35mm SLR and all my stuff for the (almost) week I was away all fit within 10 kg, Ryanair baggage allowance :)

A simple shot from me, testing out my 4x5 at full extension.

Pm'd mod to disable your "image posting" rights as I'm jealous, and I want LF, and wanting usually results in money disappearing from my account....

Lol

Lovely shot, what do you scan with?

Sorry Danny. You know its an itch you are going to have to scratch, sooner or later :D

I scan with a V750 using Silverfast, it works for me quite well.

Cheers,

Mart

Wish I could justify it right now, it's rare I have my sensible hat on

Oooo, its just stood on the edge of being beautastic

its a stop short of dof and the highlights are a shade strong, but its everything you could ask from a tester...:)

I've only shot maybe 10 rolls of film this year, partly because I packed my developing gear away as we intended to move house, and partly because....I dunno.....anyway, its pathetic.
Not much to choose from for the "best shot this year" thread, so in a desperate attempt to find something I like, I souped a roll of 6x6 and some 35mm HP5.
The HP5 is orrible, 36 shots of orrible, but when I was at my lowest ebb the 6x6, if not that interesting, blew it out of the water and restored my faith..

few random locals
