Beneath the clock face in the last photo, there are streaks that run parallel to the sides of the film roll.

Thorton: the negatives aren't cropped, but the orientation was mainly because it was the first time I'd used the camera, so as well as checking for light leaks and vignetting from a hood, I was mostly just lining things up with the edges of the viewfinder to check how much more or less I'd get on the negative. The top of the church was lined up with the corner of the view screen, and I can see how much extra I got

Also with the top one I had no more room to walk backwards.
