Show us yer film shots then!

Col - those are very nice, they ooze warmth from every halide!
Thanks Arthur, Lucky hundred, ID-11 1 to 3, 15 minutes to stew, two flips per min. Nikkormat, Sigma 28mm f1.8. Light bleeding everywhere, not particularly small grain for 100asa but silver rich looking, a bit like 1950s film.
It was the first test so I had no idea what it would come out like. Will be moving to faster film for the winter months, nice as it is.

Yes TBY, the valleys are as steep as ever. I was knackered after a doing one village. Cycling is certainly hard work round here.

The Pop on its side is interesting David, it reminds me of being a kid when there was more open space and waste ground in cities than of late. A lot of bomb damage too probably. It was never a problem finding a location or fuel for a bonfire.

You're right. Liverpool 8 in the early sixties was such a photogenic place. Pity it all got tidied up.

A recent open gardens event:

Cor Still got an outside toilet  and a queue too to use it

That'll be because the indoor one is being used to store the Coal, and house the Whippet
Agas and Porsches in that particular village. A whippet free zone. Flat caps by Barbour, wellys in green, labradors from Crufts, etc.

I know, I was just pandering to the stereotypes that those southern jessies like to bandy around

Well that place is a bit of Surrey in West Yorkshire. Open garden days are fascinating, a nosy b*gg*rs charter basically but the photos didn't really do it justice, too many self-conscious camera shy types. I was also aware I might look like I was casing the joints with all the CCTV.

There's a good photo story somewhere but I didn't get it. I shall be back with colour and fill-in flash.

OK, first shots from the Voigtlander Bessa R3a and Jupiter 8 f2 50mm lens on Fuji Superia ASA 200. Have to say I'm a little disappointed with the results, I think its because I ordered the lowest res cd. Next time I'll order higher res.

Huh You are hard to please...they look alright to me.

Mmmm maybe you're right. The larger versions aren't as sharp and are noisier and these are the best 3, many of the others are much worse.

Yes. I think they are very nice and I look forward to more.

I am very interest to see how the new setup perfoms with B&W on the street.

All the best

Obviously difficult to tell for sure at this resolution, but they look fine to me.

I'm not quite sure what you were expecting otherwise :)

Look fine to me as well - in focus where they need to be, colourful without being oversaturated, I'd be happy.

We were exchanging regional stereotypes yesterday, here's a few from 12 days ago, as bleak a location near Delph, Saddleworth as you'll find in the Pennines. I've been drawing disused churches and take a few photos as an aid to memory.

No I meant you're a bad man because you made me spurt coffee onto my keyboard......:D

So ... I had a major fail and developed a new (unused) B&W film :bonk:

whilst the chemicals were out, I decided to develop a colour film with them

Just some snap shots of a VW camping weekend I went to a while back

definitely not Bug Jam !

A few shots from inside the old dairy at the family farm. Taken with the Minolta Prod 20s on Centuria, but processed in ID-11 for the hell of it. I rather like them even though I can be deemed to have cheated outrageously by adding the sepia tone... but in my defence if I had scanned them in colour initially then they would in fact be pretty close to sepia anyway :D

A little point... the family sold the herd about 6 months *before* the big BSE thing years ago - damned lucky in retrospect. The dairy has not been used since then...

Taken in Canterbury last week Nikon EM 50mm f1.8 Centuria OOD, first reel after new light seals fitted, your comments would be appreciated.

I like Richard them. Really sharp and lovely colour.

Just nit picking...too much clutter if the subject was the man and boy in the first one? And in the 2nd, the passers by looking at me is annoying when the subject is the man in the grey suit?

Thanks Andy,

I was really pleased this is the second batch of film I have had processed at Photo Express in Hull and with our TP discount is great value and excellent work.

Velvia 100 + polariser. Somewhat over the top on the colours and a pig to scan but it's all good info on what not to do next time

...but it's a good shot and it's the end result that counts.

Thanks Excali and Star :) Re: the shadows, I should have used my little folding reflector I carry around, specifically for that sort of thing! Hurmph!
