Made a pano from two 6x6 negs in photoshop - this is Regent's Canal in Camden Town, London

I had a couple of old school ones taken from the top of Mont Blanc and the Matterhorn - just stood on the top, and shot my way through a roll of film. When I got home a month or so later, had the shots printed and made a Hockney Style "Joiner" of them.

Sadly they're gone now, along with the negatives - perished in a tragic "Mad Ex Girlfriend / Failure to Change the Locks / Bonfire" incident. :annoyed:
 
I did something similar with a pair of photos I took at an Open Day at Reigate bus garage in 1982. I only owned a 50mm lens at the time.

Finally got to stitch them together properly using Photoshop 28 years later... :)

Yip, I missed a Zeiss Sonnar 135mm I was watching that went for around £20 yesterday. With 10 minutes to go I thought I'd nip downstairs to put the kettle on and ended up developing a film, forgetting about the lens :bang:

I'm amazed at the quality of these shots, especially considering my lack of talent and the age of the cameras involved.
I'd appreciate some feedback on these if poss eg whats looks right or wrong.

Wow, those are all great but 2-5 are superb! The colours and composition on 2 work really well for me, did you scan these yourself?
 
Thanks Mr T. No not scanned myself I had them deved at Club 35 and a high res disc as well. I'm just so pleased with the quality of the shots these old cameras/lenses produce.

Lovely architectural stuff Andy. There's something about old buildings and B&W film that were made fo one another.
 
this is from my first developed roll, it happened to be the one I shot entirely home as snappies.
No major PP, in the last one just pulled the blues up.
expired fuji from pharmacy .
minolta 7000i + helios 44-2 . the last pic is also a bokeh tester on film.
oh ! :lol: the 2nd pic - that was our coffee maker, came a time we drank coffee and we didn't have machine. now we're back to tea for good.

Starastin, That is a very beautiful photograph, it is just a shame that the right eye is out of the focus field, having said that I do love it.

CP, Beautiful colour and great detail and I love the platform in the distance with the passengers waiting in expectation.

Andy, I like this shot the best of yours, I like the open window effect of the shutters and for me of an arm stretching to open the window, also the detail of the man walking through the right side opening just below the flag, I love the detail of where it is, what time it is and the whole context it is set in with the small BG view and that wonderful sky.

yeah ! the eye looks ill because of that I guess ! :D well, as I said it was just snap, snap pictures. the whole roll went in 30minutes I think, I never do that any more. I had to shoot wide open at F2 because of the lack of light :( .

I think I've seen somebody having the same film, it's in a yellow case, something, something pharmacy and inside fuji film 200 that's all it says.

Tasty e-Type parked up in town, need to learn how to gauge the light meter for this link of thing. going out to play with the ESII next.

All taken on my Spot F with Kodak ultramax 400, probably 50mm f1.4 and the jag 35mm f3.5. need to learn how to hold the camera straight. I do find it difficult to see the whole frame wearing glasses, hard to get your eye close enough to the view finder window.
 
Picked up a few mixed rolls in a charity shop. The Velvia must have been the original stuff as it was just called Velvia not Velvia 50, so it was pre 2005.







All shot in the City of London, Canon EOS1 with Canon 24-105L. There is a noticeable pinkish cast to them.
The Kodak Gold Ultra that was also in the bundle was vile!

Good bunch of shots there Andy pity the sky is so bland and the one of the Cathedral looks really good.

Medway that is a cracking shot love the way the light come through the flowers.
 
Thanks Nick, yes unfortunately it was a flat grey until I'd finished the roll then the Sun came out and the nice fluffy white clouds appeared.

hmm.. chrome is good but I wouldn't call it iconic. glad that I didn't bid on any. FUJI FTW !!!
good shots. only the last one should've been more shot with thirds rule in mind.

I found it quite difficult to scan and get the colours right for Kodachrome.
They just seemed to contain essence of Kodachrome and never quite attained the classic iconic look we see say in 5x4's at Shorpy..
