Don't think Andy, it DOES look good, VERY good….I like that a LOT! :clap:

The sun through the tree branches and its reflection on the water just adds that little bit of something extra that often isn't in a photo.;)

URC, over the road from my house.

Contina 1B, Silberra Pan160. Processed in Rodinal, can't quite remember the details but I saved some notes, somewhere, for future reference.

The best of a very mediocre bunch from this film/camera combination. The film is very, very contrasty. Still, it was quite cheap. After I've used these rolls up I won't use again. I'd rather use Harman Pan 400 for sure. And I also have to confess that, for most of the film, I had a rangefinder fitted and forgot to transfer the focus setting to the camera. I spent loads of time making sure that the rangefinder was properly focussed on the subject. So, stupid me! I must take another film with the Contina soon.

The aforementioned URC. Horizon 202, Silberra Pan 160, same processing protocol as the previous example. Most of the film came out well exposed but very contrasty. Same metering as above but the camera is fixed focus, thank goodness.

Homemade 6x9 pinhole camera, out-of-date Fujicolor 100 film. I just sorted two films out for pinhole day so I must choose a picture to post to the website tomorrow. I think I'm still within the deadline.

A nice shot Asha but we all know what a banana etc looks like ;), what about some shots of where you live and something you don't see in the UK like quaint French shops, buildings etc (y)
 
Asaha -- I changed your photo in FastStone Image Viewer - it is FREE to download ! I used 'Curves' to lighten the dark tones and made an 'S' curve to increase contrast a bit in the lighter tones -- I'm NO EXPERT ! I do not 'Fake' photos in PhotoShop as I see at Brentwood & District Photographic Club .

Went to Southend-on-Sea ESSEX ( England) by Car now we are allowed to travel a bit . I took my 2002 Hasselblad 501CM loaded with Feb 1995 dated Ilford XP2 i was sent by a member of Pentax User Site but it comes out a bit 'Blotchy' as he did not store it Cold. I show a series of GULLS in action -- some in Southchurch Park and one on the Sea Front where they were stealing food from the Pigeons ! I rated the film down to 200 ASA and home-Processed in C41.

Sent some 07/2004 dated Fuji Superia 200 I did not know how it had been stored. I took camera to Lake Meadows, BILLERICAY, Essex ( England) I rated it down to 160 ASA and processed in well-used C41 for 3 mins 45 secs but it was a bit 'over-developed' and came out Cyan and grainy on scans.

Nice sharp shots...Superia 200 and Reala was my favourite film and yet to try Superia 400.
 
Well my moon shots were crap i.e. not at all sharp...shame really as a Canon 300mm FD lens with Canon 2X extender nearly filled a 35mm frame, but can't agree with sunny 16 as my T90 spotmeter gave f8 @ 1/8 sec iso 200 film h'mm probably explains why the shots weren't sharp.
Anyway for those that can remember my shots of the same house for about 6 years here is the latest one inc a hole (bottom left ) for the unwary.

Canon 300mm lens Fujicolor 400 exp 2013 and very windy and really need a weight on the hook under the tripod.

Had a trip to Southend-on-Sea Essex England -- here I show a few Colour on a A16 back on my 2002 Hasselblad 501CM + 80mm f2.8 CFE Planar T* and 'Gift' outdated 2004 Fuji Superia 100 which I over-developed a bit

Ok so a little frustrated with both of these shots although to be fair I didn't expect the tree shot to please me very much as I generally fail to obtain satisfying results with this type of scene.
The idea was to seperate the different greens (tones) of the grass, the small tree in the fore (ish) ground, then the two different types of trees behind…...I hoped a green filter was going to do the trick….maybe it has, but not enough ??

The railway signal image however is right up my street but sadly has evidence of light entry to the left edge.

Some of you may recall that earlier this year I posted a 10x8 image of the local mountains heavily cropped due to severe light entry with same film holder and same camera so this time I immediatley re inserted the darkslide an inch or so after removal and left it in place to avoid light entry through the foam seals.
Clearly it didn't work.!

Immediatley convincing myself that I have a dodgy holder ( which side I wouldn't know without further testing) I've had the torch out and attempted to locate the offending foam decay/ damage….to no avail.

Then I had a thought ( no sarcasm thank you!! lol),

Both images with light entry were exposed in landscape orientation. None of the portrait orientated shots show the same problem.
Camera mounted on tripod, filmholder in place and a strong torch inside the bellows around the rear standard shows a very very fine gap between the fixed part of the rear standard and the removable section holding the groundglass.

Potentially and probably, this could well be where the issue lies.
Not great news but at least it looks like I don't need to obtain another film holder at nearly 200 quid.
That said, I will have to find a solution for the rear standard……..Intrepid are a good team and will no doubt help enormously.
More investigations required and if possible some photos before contacting them.

Anyway, back to the shots.
Done very little with them as I doubt i will be printing them out.
The tree one has had curves adjusted slightly and sharpened. ( ignore the horizontal ( scratch??) lines )
The signal shot is exactly as it has come off the scanner.

The first image can be repaired very quickly and simply in Photoshop, and less quickly and less simply in a darkroom, so all is not lost.

No, I ordered an actual cat. I was disappointed that they didn't put any air-holes in the box.

Thankfully, he's fully resurrected, and back to his usual business of scratching and biting my ankles when he's hungry. :)
 
And quite an interesting "optical illusion" effect akin to the well known duck/rabbit. Especially after having been shown a video on a Janus cat yesterday.

My eldest cat Marcus, used to nip my fingers if he wanted stroking or if I stopped doing so without his permission [emoji23]

I say ´used to ´ as a few weeks ago he also went on his travels in a box, but sadly a journey from which he will never return [emoji22]

I recall years ago pointing out to someone on another forum that their daughter had a beard due to an unfortunate shadow placement. They hadn't spotted it, but it really stood out to them after it was explained. Let's see if you can see this one.

The first thing I saw was the cat's eye. A little strange I admit, but clearly it had to be the eye because the ear was obviously in the correct position. The only oddity - and the reason for speculating on two heads, since the possibility had been demonstrated only a few hours before - was the whiskers to the left.

Now reread that in the light of the collar being seen as the eye, with an extra pupil, but clearly it had to be the eye because of the ear (which is actually the shoulder).

If you draw a line from the bottom left corner of the rightmost black Amazon sticker to the cat's rear end, and mask the bottom left, you should see a complete cat, with head, ear and body.

Does this make it clear to you as well? I honestly have difficulty seeing it the correct way, as this is the obvious interpretation to me. I must have a warped sense of visual perception....

Sorry to hear of his passing, Asha. That's the trouble with cats, they leave pawprints on your heart.
 
Not the most successful photo, but a nice looking bike in its day (not mine, I hasten to add!). Part of my learning curve as a 16 year old, think what you're doing when using slide film in contrasty light. It obviously didn't stay with me as I still make the same exposure mistakes... hmm, shiny... click! :facepalm:
