well, finally got a couple of rolls back,
"MrsNutt in soft focus"
whatta ya think?
Is it soft focus, or cocked up focus, it doesn't matter I think its beau.
I don't think I have the vocabulary to say why, I keep looking at it, maybe I'm looking for some sharp....I dunno....
Ok, she looks like a doll, and the background looks like a painted set from a stage show or something, but it isn't, its real and so is she.
Couple of test focus with colour, and some B&w i developed from other day. Wish there was a easy way to do home colour developing, going to make a huge learning curve

Couple of test focus with colour,

What film is that ?, those first two are so....rich, I don't just mean in colour, meaty...thick.....I dunno![]()

My first shots on Medium Format..
I dont know why its so grainy!!
This was taken over the weekend, it's Buachaille Etive Mor shot with a Cambo SC-2 Basic and 210mm lens on Delta 100 5x4 and processed in Ilford HC.
Sorry if it's not really right but my own monitor is knackered and this one I can't trust so if my slight curves has blown it all out of kilter i'm sorry

Cheers!
Got more to scan (epson 4490) but just not got the time at the moment
Got some on Ilford XP2, wasn't keen on the prints but it seems to scan a lot better and seems very sharp.
Soon as I get a chance I'll post some.
...ohh, and I used a red filter. Really like what a red filter does to the contrast!
This shot is for my college portraiture block where we had to do a window lit corporate portrait, this young lady is our college principal
Shot on 5x4 using Delta 100 dev'd in Ilfosol HC and scanned using an Epson V700 Pro
Don't you just love the DOF on 5x4 - this was shot at f5.6
