Some fab shots here folks! I'll hopefully be able to add to this with a pic tomorrow since my 10-20mm landed in my lap about 30 mins ago :woot: :woot: Roll on tomorrow!

Oooh great thread :D

None of this makes me feel any better. My 10-20 should be on my camera now but today they delivered a 17-35 instead. :( I had a trip planned for tomorrow starting at 5 AM and this has put a real damper on things. Some great photos here.

 And there was me thinking I was the only one silly enough to try and do wildlife shots with a 10-20 :D

Excellent shot Grendel!

lol thanks Matty :D Likewise I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who's bonkers too ;). It was a fun day shooting swans by the river in Windsor - they were so used to people around them that they were quite happy to have a 10-20 shoved in their face

It's just such a versatile lens that somehow always makes you smile when you see what it can do

I think I read your story about that earlier. I'm not surprised, when I bought my first DSLR a 350D I got it from Jessops. Chris (my hubby) got home with it for me to discover there was a 400D inside  But since it was the wrong software and instructions I had to take it back. It was very frustrating. I hate when things don't go to plan and you have something nice planned. So you have my sympathy.

Oh go on then. Mine is a bit soft on the RHS which I'm going to get sorted soon but this is a selection from it so far. Woodsy, I'm loving the colours and mood in your 6th shot. Also Grendel - love the swan, I've got a shot like that of a donkey's nose somewhere.

I almost can't believe you did that. You don't need the software that comes with the camera. Am I going to burn in Hull?

Sorry for the big number of photos. This is my most used lens. It's light, sharp and WIDE!!!
You can visit my flickr or my redbubble for more photos of this lens and others.

Got my 10-20mm last month, still just a beginner in this hobby but am very happy with the results so far.

Oh no! I have been looking at getting a nifty fifty but the guy in Wildings showed me this lens too, now I have seen these shots I am being pulled to this one - damn expensive hobby this!
Stylgeo - I love those shots, I wanted the nifty for portraits but the 10-20 just gives it something extra!

A couple of my shots using this lens...

Thought I'd include a variety of shots :)

So many awesome shots with this lens. I can see why it's a favourite with many people.
