ive heard of something called "show focus point" can anyone advise if this is available as a plugin for lightroom

AFAIK "show focus point" is in the case of Canon a function in DPP, a Canon processing software.

I have yet to hear of LR being able to do the same function............ I would welcome it if it were possible?

I surmise similar Nikon software does the same for the Nikonites amongst us ;)

The free Nikon Download, Capture NX-D shows the focus points.

I use this one, https://github.com/musselwhizzle/Focus-Points it was a link from this article

It works really well, i just have to remember to flick over to the library module to use it!

Website says its compatible with the following cameras

That is the one I found that is less than match ready for use on a PC.

No problem :)

Though for all the plugins created to "process" images it does seem odd that a potentially useful "functional" plugin has not been better developed!
