I have purchased the canon mt24ex flash this year. Advice for a shoulder bag to carry the named flash +7d+150macro. I would like to transport the gear already set up. Currently transporting the gear on the car seat, which is less than id

I and FIL use one of the Lowepro Nova series - they do different sizes - nice shoulder bag, good padding and dividers and a few pockets for bits as well. Not too badly priced and a range of colours...

Lowepro also do a messenger style shoulder bag

Thanks Andyred, it seems to be a problem getting something to fit! I didn't want to dismantle before and after use each time. Seems weird that you cannot get a shoulder bag 12x12x10. Or slightly larger. Not really confident of online ordering without some feedback. Kind regards. Mike

How about one of these http://www.manfrotto.co.uk/pro-vii-messenger-black

I have the slightly smaller Pro V and its a very well made bag, doesn't shout photo gear inside either plus lifetime warranty when you register it with Manfrotto

Downside is cost, but should last for years and if it matters looks very nice too

Have a look at some of the bigger Billingham bags... I have a 555 and it's brilliant. I've managed to wedge in there three DSLR bodies, four lenses, 1 x 2x t/c, two flashes and a MacBook Air...Granted it was *heavy* to lug around!Ive had mine for about 6 years now - still looks brilliant. Only downside is that it was expensive when I got it, and the prices have got worse recently! That said I didn't baulk at the cost of my kit, so I figures why skimp on a bag to keep it safe in when out & about...

I agree with Chris. I have an original Billingham bag and have recently purchased new- type inserts. It is once again a new bag, regardless of it being years old.

hi Rob, took the bull by the horns today, drove to park cameras as they had large selection. Total round trip of 160 miles. I had a try of several shoulder bags. Some were a little to big!! And expensive as well. I decided on the Lowe pro Nova sport 35l aw. The bag was lighter than most, and quite smart as well as not to camera looking if you see what I mean. The bag is new to the market as well. Park cameras did look after me and and a couple of cups of tea later I left. I would like to thank every-one who replied. Regards. Mike
