Should I take A-Level photography?

Agreed.. but the quote from me was in response to Pete, who said, "but is someone become more likely to become more creative, original and fresh by doing an A level in photography, or by getting out and taking a stonking portfolio ?" I was saying in order to take that stonking portfolio, you need the creativity... and that does not come from merely taking photos. As you suggest... taking those broadened perceptions and applying them to image making will improve your photography... but not merely taking photographs alone.
