It's a dilemma. Ordered a new flash gun (SB-600) from eBay, and got an email telling me it was sent out today. Hoping to get it for the weekend!

It's coming CityLink:bang:

So should I just get angry now, or wait until they mess up the delivery?

goood things come to those who wait....... get on the phone!!!! ahhhhhhh

city link are just useless sometimes! sorry scrap that - every time i ve used them they have posted the card without nocking! - I'll wait in, keep the tv low. then here the letter box swing open and slam shut! run to the door and shout at the delivery driver and say - didnt you see the door bell!

sign for my parcel and grunt something or other and politly slam the door behind me!

Yep without a doubt!
I had a similar experiance to 33L just yesterday
card shoved through the door timed at 07:10 am
I went out at 8AM there was no card!
When I returned for lunch there was said card!
The best bit is my daughter was in all morning,
and if anyone rings the bell the dogs "voice an opinion" :D
I even have a notice in the window by the bell
"please ring the bell, if the dogs didn't bark we didn't hear you either"

I called the mobile number ( DHL home delivery)
and was assured of a re-delivery that evening between 6pm & 7pm
At around 7:30 pm I started to ring said number again several times ...no answer...to be fair the parcel did turn up at 8:30PM
They are all the same IMHO

Bought a new microwave on Sunday, woolies said it would be delivered today and it was!, by citylink.

I used to think that citylink were terrible but I now know that it is all down to the local depot, its management and the drivers. We used to have disgraceful service from citylink - then the driver for our area changed and he's the most helpful, friendly and courteous courier driver I've ever encountered.
