Hi Guys/Gals

I am gonig to be in brighton for the weekend and wondering if there are some places that i should see/photograph while out there.

any help is much appreciated.

I'm not sure whether the arches along the sea front (left of the pier as you're looking at it from the town) Marine Drive (???) would yield anything. Also, the Marina maybe ..

What kind of shots? people or architecture?

Go to the Lanes (North Lanes in particular), the sea front, even towards Hove a bit too, the Marina, the park within the Pavilian...etc

well i will be bouncing between hove and brighton throughout the weekend.
type of shots - not sure - gonig down to see family so rather than walking around not knowing where to go - just would like to get a plan of attack so i can sort it with the time of day as well.

I'd suggest the Lanes too.
A touch of B&W would go well down there

The trouble with the Lanes and the North Lanes is that they will be packed at the weekend. You won't be able to get your camera out without sticking it right in someone's face.

If you want people shots, I think the esplanade could be better. There's always lots of people strolling, walking the dog or just hanging out down there.

But the Pavillion has to be seen to be believed.
