Short trip - where to go?

After 6 months or so with zero spare time for anything (work and new baby) I may get the chance to have a couple of days to myself come April. i was thinking of having a day or two away soley for photography.

I'm based in Doncaster and wondered if anyone had any recommendations on where to go - probably somewhere with a youth hostel as i still have some vouchers to use up! I'm thinking stunning scenery and was leaning towards the Yorkshire Dales or most likely the Lakes if I can be bothered to travel.

Anyone any recommendations for somewhere within say 75 miles of Donny?

Lake District gets my vote. I live in Ulverston, Cumbria and its all around 20mins away from me and I love heading up with the camera. Been to Waswater today and Castletigg Stone Circle yesterday.

So many places up here just a matter of having a look around.
