Shopping for a monitor

I'm in line for a new PC and monitor and like the idea of a WQHD 2560 x 1440 but would like to see one in action before committing the extra hard earned cash.

Any thoughts on where I can go? I'm located in the Southern home counties

I should have made it clearer, its the monitor I'm undecided about - budget £500 and doesn't need to be bigger than 27"

The Dell U2410 still takes some beating, and you'll have over £100 change from your budget.

Word of warning though.... the U2413 is just around the corner, and it looks like it can be hardware profiled.. may be worth waiting for.
