... is a nightmare :bang:

They are used to having the camera in their faces every weekend around the house and out and about... but organise a family shoot with their 2 month old cousin and it all kicks off!! James decides to act like a teenager and not wanting to be in most of the pics (for more than 30 secs anyway) and Evie decides she is now a teenager and just plain stroppy!!!

Have put a few up in the Portrait section - luckily we did get some good ones but it was far less enjoyable than a normal paid shoot!

i love shooting my kids...yes its defo a challenge but thats what i like about it...its really rewarding when you get some good shots:)

I love shooting children. The secret is to make it fun, or if they are upset to use distraction. Bubbles are always a good tool in the armoury.

As for the pic, great idea, just a shame about the crying as it's light really nicely.

I do like it and my sessions are normally with babies and toddlers, so well used to making it fun etc... but it seems different when its your own!

Just wait until they get older. It doesn't get any easier... ;) :help:

it's easy - if you sit there and smile for 10 seconds i will give you chocolate buttons

My 6 year old does a runner now every time she spots me taking the camera out of its bag. The little sod will sit there for friends and relatives and put on the nice smile and pose etc as she loves getting her picture taken by others, but as soon as I try to take her picture she either bolts or does the big cheesy grin with the eyes shut. :bang:

If you keep your kids in a box, you can't expect them to be happy :)
