Only just started on the road to better sports photos so please excuse my ignorance ; seem to notice a lot of shots r taken from a low seated position , is there a reason for this in relation to the image or a convenience thing , if image how and why is picture improved .Thanks

its a more dramatic picture taken from lower down.... also if stood you are likely to get somehting thrown at you from the crowd behind ..

but mostly.. makes it a more dramatic pic its pretty much standard and pics taken from a standing position stick out a mile and can look amatuerish

agree with Kipax there. also, come grounds won;t allow you to stand and you are made to sit down, even if there is no crowd behind you
