SOOOOOOO i'm helping shoot an Indian/Christian wedding and really don't know what to expect. The last time I went to a wedding was when I was like nine years old, I didn't even pay attention to the photographer then. I really just need some encouragement or something to help me out here :/ thank you :)

get a plan and ask the couple what they want from the photos, be clear with them that it's your first time and you're promising nothing.

have fun and go with the flow. but don't be scared to engage to get the shots you want.

also use the search function as there must be about 1 bajillion threads with the answers to your question already :)

When is the wedding?

Can you attend some others as a cheeky bystander?

can you find someone local to carry bags for? They might even lend you some kit for the day :D

if not theres a good book on how the day usually progresses, not sure how the indian aspect will alter that though

Itinerary will be handy and do some planning
