Full manual for me as mostly in the studio. But also do a lot of theatre and show work where the auto modes just keep changing and don't give consistent results.

There should be no preference at all. Using a particular mode all depends on subject matter and your particular genre. You should learn to shoot all modes and really get to know your camera well...
These days you can choose your shutter and aperture and have auto ISO ;)
I use all modes...

For me, I stick exclusively to manual unless when I am in a situation with a constantly changing light or if I'm after quick shots. Then I guess I have to say I tend to go 50/50 between AV and TV depending on the time of the month, position of the moon and spin of the earth ;) (i.e. according to mood!)

Manual. Every time. Except for those times when some other mode

So that's NOT Manual. Every time then.:lol:

So again you don't stick exclusively to manual you pick and choose what suits best.:lol:

Aperture always for me. Unless I'm using flash, in which case I use manual, so as to have control of the ambient exposure. Set up with a few test shots without the flash, get the ambient how I want it, then start with the flash. Recently been doing a lot of rear curtain sync with bulb. Can get some pretty wicked effects in low light.

As I mostly shoot sports photography, I mostly use shutter speed priority, or as Canon call it, Tv mode.

i have changed mine and didn't even realise lol, i shoot mainly AP and manual now. Never used the scene modes but i know a woman who shoots weddings using scene modes and also uses her portable studio equipment with the scene mode portrait :/ no idea how that works

Intrigued, especially in relation to using studio lights with a scene mode, must have ettl triggers and flash otherwise it isn't going to work. Too much guess work and hoping the camera will have the same creative ideas as the tog...... Weird.

Take a look at her pics and u instantly know it's guess work and in most cases pure luck. but she is very busy all the same, annoys the hell out of me lol

I would live to be able to point out to customers about that sort of thing but you never can. Life goes on :)

Used to be fully manual with my zooms but since getting my first prime lens I find myself using Aperture priority most often.
