Hi Gang

A few questions.

I'm thinking of getting a polaroid back for my RB67 as a form of proofing and to aid in the 2 "no PP" months of POTY.

So does anyone know what i need?
I know there are two backs for the RB67 but i don't know which one is what i'm after

The other thing is, what film can i use? Fuji FP stuff or are there any alternatives?

Thanks in advance
Rob

I can lend you mine if you want Rob, it's not getting any use on mine at the moment. If you want to buy one its the one that accepts 100 type film, and you'll need a P adaptor which doesn't always come with it

You can use the fuji FP**** packs, but not the ones that end with a 45 as they are larger. Realistically you can only get FP100C any more though

It's a little bit disappointing on the RB though, you only get a 7x7ish cm square image in the middle of the frame, so 2 black bars on the sides

The image that comes out on the film is far smaller than the total size of the FP100c positive. To give you some idea, this is the Polaroid back output on a Hasselblad, in this video (so you'd get about 1cm extra on the negs):

It certainly looks right Rob. I'll take a photo of mine for you to compare, and show you an example of what the finished article looks like when I get home from work
