Shooting down in track (Media accrediation)

Hi, I am overseas student studying in Newcastle. I see there are lots of motorsports event going here in UK and am really interested to shoot them. I wonder how does a newbie normally apply for a trackpass?

Here in my home country normally we will just apply for media pass (magazine, online portal, etc.) from the organization first. Wonder how does it work in UK.

Please advise.
