shooting at matches

Blackburn can ill-afford to turn punters away. In percentage terms, it's one of the emptiest in the Premiership.

Is it? Only second time I ahve been (its not my preffered team to be honest) and as far as i am aware it was there biggest home gate of the season.. but at 28 thousand thats not brill..

Theres a lot of Championship and at least 2 League One clubs who had higher attendances this season..

I've done a few photos at Forest reserve matches, I normally ask a couple of stewards if its OK, and I have no problems.

Shooting at matches?? You either need to be a really good shot, or dead close up, cos matches are tiny. I would say a pellet gun would be best, although you could cheat and use a shotgun and obliterate a whole box in one go>>>>>>>>>>>>

I mean more in terms of as a percentage of their total stadium capacity, sales are among the lowest in the Premiership. They don't get bad crowds considering the population of Blackburn is only just over 100,000 and the fact that it's surrounded by Bolton, Burnley and Preston all within 10 miles and Manchester and Liverpool are only a little further afield.

These are the figures from 2007/8 but you get the idea. http://www.theoffside.com/leagues/e...ust-how-full-are-premier-league-stadiums.html

NW clubs should have better ticket sales next year:
Liverpool, Everton, Wigan, Man city, Man Utd, Bolton, Blackburn, Burnley and Stoke all close, then Villa, WOlves and B'ham not far either. That is 12 clubs, all less than 1.5 hours drive, many less than 1/2 hour.

I've never tried taking a D-SLR. I took my KM Z3 to a few Palace games in the 04/05 season. Only time I got questioned was when a steward thought it was a video camera. I had to show him the images to prove it wasn't. My wife got most annoyed at me sitting there taking pictures instead of watching the game :D

I sold that Z3 last year. I must pay homage to it as it was the first frustrating step to realising I had outgrown P&S and bridge cameras, seeing all those blurred images. Then came the FZ50, then the D300 :)

Did anyone seee the guy in the cround at the Windies one dayer yesterday? Looked like he had a 1D or similar with a bigma on a monopod. highlights showed him quite happily sat there. (maybe someone from the forum)?

was suprised he got in
