Yes
done a wedding today.
a local baptist church, with a yank preacher/pastor/reverend/whatever.
did my usual " what can we do in the church?" type questioning of the aforesaid minister and greeted with a reply of
" anything is ok with me. its the bride and grooms day, not mine"
i nearly fell over with shock.:woot:
explained that the bride had asked for a shot from the front of the church, groom in foreground, bride coming down aisle.
usualy less likely than bernard manning guesting at the mobo's.
yup, no problem.
my jaw bruised on the carpet.
it helped that this was a fairly "progressive " church and the b&g were members of the congregation. but i'm still stunned.
tina was almost stood on the brides dress, and me up the back, shooting merily, long lens on tripod.
coolest wedding weve had in ages.

must be karmic payback for all the nazi's weve had in the past few months.:)

^ What she said.

and you're from Notts. EPIC. Dear Outlaw :D

That's pretty cool. A lot of holy men do like to make things difficult. ;)

Are you just talking about how much fun you had with no restrictions on what to shoot compared to other weddings? I don't understand the original post... maybe it's the puncuation that's throwing me off

I think its all down to the Vicar,Priest,Pastor at the end of the day, over the years I have had good and bad across all demonitations and in fact the most relaxed ever was a Catholic priest who would not have moaned if I sat on his shoulder to get some shots.
Actually the worst of the lot from my experience are Registrars at Civil Ceremonies
