Yes
Called into a different Asda (not my regular) and they have put the prices up 50% i.e. £2.50 for dev (which is still cheap) but a CD now costs £2...what's more, no index so you can't see what's on the CD and add to that it was the crappiest scan ever as the shots were full of very heavy grainy noise...but I'll confirm this when I scan the negs my self......Oh well it was cheap while it lasted.

Have you tried your regular Asda, Brian?

Not yet Chris as like most of us in between going some where exciting is:- what to shoot in the mean time and it could take a month to get through a roll of film  And am hoping it's the individual managers of stores that can adjust prices and not nationwide thing?
But I wouldn't mind paying more if the shots had came out better, and it looks like the OM2 let me down on auto and the Asda scanner gave a crap result with bits under exposed like below:-

I was doing a nine shot pano of the scene and set the OM2 on auto and would have expected the camera to do a better job to get the shadows exposed correctly (as most of this shot was shadows).
BTW this is the CD before adjusting in PS.

It seems the individual managers at Asda stores decide the prices as Asda Watford gone up to £4.50, but Asda Slough still at £3.
Had 5 photos done by the machine and cost £5, well I thought to myself I have all these cameras and loadsa film also can access digi cameras.....Well I suppose you don't need a passport type picture very often and when you know how to do the correct size shot you forget how you did it when the time comes again.
