Some really interesting shots in there Adrian. When I were a lad a lot of Crewe was rows of terraced houses and most of those have now gone, sadly very few pictures were taken.

Very good and all those boring record shots taken now could be interesting for future generations...well that's if Joe public with all their digi cameras don't lose their jpg files  Anyway I've run out of things to shoot where I live (many record shots), but at least it's all on film, erm well after I'm dead someone doesn't throw the negs away

Those were interesting from a historical perspective but they were also good Street photos the links at the bottom were also very interesting.

Some of them remind me of John Bulmers Northern soul

I wanna shoot these scenes now, but they don't exist any more, or at least they're not every street corner.

Its difficult to imagine the pictures we are shooting now in 2014 will be as gritty and evocative in 50 years time, as these are now.

Yes it's strange that some of us ( myself included) go to great lengths to take street scenes with as little "clutter" in the shot as possible...ie: road signs, waste paper bins etc, yet I have loads of old negatives and glass plates with exposures on them which would not interest me for one second if i shot similar today, but because some date back probably a century or more, they fascinate me regardless of their subject matter or technical qualities.

And yes the pics in the links are fab ...thanks for posting the link Adrian
